The journal’s mission is to promote scientific discourse on animal protection and animal welfare, with particular emphasis on the interdisciplinary nexus between animal law and veterinary science. Its editorial principles are rooted in the concept of sustainability and the “One Health, One Welfare” approach, which underscores the integrated management of the complex relationships between humans, animals, and the environment.
